Garlic Herb Shrimp Sandwich with Green Apple

These cool and creamy garlic herb shrimp sandwiches with green apple taste fancy enough to serve for dinner, yet are simple enough to make for a quick lunch.

  • 1/2 lb deveined cooked shrimp
  • 1/2 cup Sabra’s Garlic Herb Spread
  • Juice from 1/8 of a lemon about 1/2 tsp
  • 1 green apple sliced
  • 6 slices whole wheat bread for more of a po boy style you could also use 3 whole wheat hot dog buns


  • Remove tails from shrimp and rinse in a colander. Remove and place in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Add Garlic Herb Spread and lemon juice to the mixing bowl and stir well.
  • Place a large scoop of shrimp on a slice of whole wheat bread. Add a couple green apple slices, then top with another slice of bread. Enjoy!


This recipe is easily doubled or tripled.
