Healthy Avocado Oil Baked Tortilla Chips

Made with heart-healthy avocado oil and a pinch of salt, these homemade corn tortilla chips are healthier and just as tasty as store bought.

  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt or more to taste
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat or lime juice


  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Cut tortillas into wedges and place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add oil and salt, tossing to coat.
  • Place wedges on prepared baking sheet in an even layer and roast for 14-18 minutes, flipping halfway through. Depending on the size of your baking sheet, you may need to do 3-4 batches.
  • Remove from oven and repeat with remaining wedges.
  • Keep cooked chips in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
