Introducing The Healthy Toast’s Favorites Page

Whether you’re a consistent food blog reader or simply like to find delicious new recipes to make, I’m sure you’ve noticed how important it is to be able to easily find the recipe you want. When I first started The Healthy Toast, I had a super basic recipes page that just listed out the recipes – no pictures and very poor tagging. About a year ago I upgraded my Recipes Page to include pictures and went through each recipe to update the tags. Now you are able to search by category, or click on a tag at the bottom of a post to find other recipes containing that same ingredient. But what about the times when you have no idea what you’re in the mood for? If this has never happened to you, then I am very jealous. Oftentimes the hardest part of making dinner, for me at least, is deciding what I want to eat. While you could spend your time going through page after page in my Recipe Index until a picture or recipe title jumps out at you, I want to make it a bit simpler by offering a page of my personal favorite recipes to get the creative juices flowing.

So what makes a recipe a favorite? The key for me is how often I make it. While I’m proud of all my recipes on The Healthy Toast, I want to highlight the one’s that I consistently make again and again, as well as my go-to’s for when company is over.

For now this page is just going to highlight my original recipes, but don’t be surprised to eventually find links to recipes from other food blogger’s that I love, as well as products and food items that are essentials for a healthy kitchen. Be sure to occasionally check out the page itself as I’ll be updating it from time-to-time.

So here’s a toast to my favorite recipes – may they become your family’s favorites as well!
