Out of all the tips for making healthier choices around the holidays, I think the most important one is to eat a nutritious, filling breakfast. While it may seem like a good idea to skip breakfast and save up those calories for Thanksgiving dinner, in reality you’re doing yourself a huge disservice. Because chances are by the time the appetizers start going around and you sit down to eat, you’ll be so hungry that you won’t care as much about making healthy decisions or being mindful of how much you’re eating. So in the end, you’ll likely end up eating more than you would have if you had eaten breakfast earlier. Plus, I don’t know about you but I am far from being full of holiday cheer when I’m hungry 😉
