These healthy cinnamon almond overnight oats are a cozy Fall breakfast.

Fall is my favorite season. I just love waking up with that crispness in the air, but it still warms up enough during the day.

But the best part about the change in seasons is all the Fall flavors — especially cinnamon!

These healthy cinnamon almond overnight oats are easy to make, filling, and packed with warming Fall flavors.

What type of almond butter should I use?

For the ultimate Fall flavor, I recommend using a cinnamon or vanilla-flavored almond butter.

I used a local Colorado company PB Love Co. My runner-up option is Justin’s, which is also a Colorado-based company but is more widely available.

How to make overnight oats

Overnight oats are one of the easiest breakfasts! All you have to do is combine everything in a jar, stir, and set in the fridge overnight.

For the cinnamon-swirl, mix all the other ingredients together first. Then, place the tablespoon of cinnamon almond butter in the center.

Using the tip of a sharp knife, start to swirl the almond butter.

How to adjust the texture of overnight oats

I love my oats nice and thick, but there are ways to adjust the texture depending on your preferences.

To make them thinner:

  • Use 1/2 as much Greek yogurt.
  • Use 1/2 as much chia seeds, or leave them out altogether.
  • Add 3-4 extra tablespoons of milk/milk alternative

To make them even thicker:

  • Add an extra tablespoon of almond butter.
  • Use all yogurt instead of milk.
